OUR STORY & PHILOSOPHY
Unesandla Crafts was founded by Adu in 2002 with the aim to promote African craft to tourists and residents in Cape Town. After trading on flea markets, open weekend markets and shows across the country and operating shops in the centre of Cape Town, Unesandla has found its home in 2009 in the picturesque villages / suburb of Kalk Bay along the False Bay coast line.

Thanks to regular traveling and contacts across the African continent, the offer of items is expanding and new stock is added to the shop regularly. The stock now includes hand made jewellery, beads from West Africa, textiles and cloth in typical African style and design, masks and statues, locally prepared table cloth and cushion covers, nguni hides, variety of bags and baskets in leather, textile and fabric, wooden and stone figurines and much more, to help with interior decoration and fashion accessories.

Our trademark is the customer service, which is evident in many referrals and regular visits by many customers. We pride ourselves in good quality of our products, affordable prices and always a smile and friendly hand to help where we can.
